    Still doesn't beat the $75K asking price for the double denum Mercury Dime on a 1943 steel cent which was one 2 weeks before for under $25K

    I dunno - assumes it was worth $1300 at the auction. I wouldn't have paid that.

    Some people like carrying around errors as good luck charms. The wear doesn't bother me, but you start seeing them holed, then that bothers me.
