Will acetone remove tape residue

My mom sends me P mint mark coins for the kids from time to time and she tapes them to a 3x5 card

It is the only thing likely to be able to remove it. It'll take some extensive soaking if the tape was on there for a while.

Yes and it may take several attempts to get it all off.
