When did PCGS do this?

I have collected Roosies for awhile now, and can't recall seeing any designated as Full Stem. Is this a change in what they are doing or a mistake? Link

  • It looks like they ment FB but put FS on it. The pop report doesn't have any FS listed for that coin. A nice little error piece. (cert # says this is a 66fs too, how wierd)

The description by TeleTrade starts with "Full satin-like mint luster." so obviously FS means "Full Satin" image

    Mistercoinman,
I called PCGS and asked about this and they stated to me that it was a mistake and is suppose to be FB. They were given the FS, which is attributed to the Jefferson Nickels, by mistake, and that you can send them back to PCGS for free correction due to a "Mechanical error"

If you own one and want the correction, you have to pay the S/H/I both ways for the FREE correction and it is just not worth it.
