Grade revealed...Step right up...what grade you this Washington quarter?

Here is the grade from PCGS...Any ideas why it was pegged so low??

Was wondering what some of you would grade this slabbed Washington quarter. The mark on the nine is a stray fleck of paper.

Pix tells me low AU,unless these are weakly struck,then im thinkiing 66

Its in a 5 holder, but could go 6 on a nice sunny day.

I'm shooting lower.....Due to the weak reverse, and less than spectacular luster (guessing from the pic), I'll go with MS-64.

Oh..by the way..it is slabbed by PCGS. I'll reveal the grade tomorrow (Sunday).

I would say a 64 with a 65 possible. The weak strike on the wing may hold it back. Very clean coin.

I agree with the 65, has 66 surfaces, but weak.

I have to go ms64. The obverse looks 65-66 but the reverse is too distracting. The strike is really weak.

Minor marks, but a very fatigued die. It's a 3 to me.

I would like to say Ms-64, although if the luster is strong and crisp, then Ms-65. I would like to see a better strike for it to be in a 5 holder.

Hard to be sure from these pics but, assuming the lack of lustre is due to the pic then I'll go 64. Too many ticks in the hair. He needs Top Spot
