Which do you think stands the best chance of appreciating in value in the next few years? Ike Proofs or Ike Mint States? Or both? Or neither? Just curious

Too hard to find really nice examples.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Do you mean from the 40% Silver BU, BU clad, or both?
and it sets us apart from practitioners and consultants. Gregor
of attention from all levels of collectors. If you want a high grade proof but
can't afford it then you can drop down to a little lower grade and it will usu-
ally be much more readily available so much cheaper. The difference in grade
can be so little that some learning is required to spot it.
Mint state coins were not so much in demand over the years and have not
survived in large quantities. While none of the regular issues are scarce in
unc some are scarce in choice condition and all are tough in gem. Demand
has been lackluster all along but has been growing in recent years. If a coll-
ector can't afford a gem then it's a long way down to a choice coin and some
will still be tough even at this level.
So long as demand continues its growth it will probably favor the mint state
coins. This detracts nothing from the collectibility of the proof coins and these
will always have a very dedicated following.

It appears the 40% Blue Packs are not scarce in Gem (65/66) based on prices.
As an Ike collector, I have seen a strong increase in prices for Proof Ikes. I would think prices for very nice MS coins will always be strong, however for the lower grades I would expect some resistance (since a lot of people still consider them as "change").

I'd give you the world, just because...
Speak to me of loved ones, favorite places and things, loves lost and gained, tears shed for joy and sorrow, of when I see the sparkle in your eye ...
and the blackness when the dream dies, of lovers, fools, adventurers and kings while I sip my wine and contemplate the Chi.
