Jan/Feb Special- 2 Day Service????

At least for me.

Cards were entered into the system late 2/1/05

Grades were posted rather early 2/3/05

What's the catch?

My shipment arrived a week before the cards were entered into the system. It seems they tried to make up for it though. Anyone have this much lag time lately between the card arriving and being entered into the system?

  • Yes...grrrr...My latest submission, according to USPS, is at PSA but not logged yet...been there for several days. I even stopped by the Post Office on the way to work this morning to verify this.
  • Logged 12/30. No results. I would be jumping for joy with that kind of turnaround, even if the cards sat for 5 days before being logged...

receievd 12/30 nothing yet, it was a ton of oddball stuff, Crusader, were they all the same year, type, or company? Just curious.
  • No, they were 7 cards from a variety of years and brands.

What service are you using? I would expect some lagtime when you are using a 30 day service, but when you use a 5, 7, or 10 day service, I didn't expect them to take a week to enter it into the system.

  • You lucky SOB.

Oh well, invoices like yours give me hope that there are gem mints and mints being sold out there that don't always turn out to be 7 or 8s. I just have to find more of them.

My order was shipped already too through the pony express known as regular registered mail....why can't they give the option for priority registered.

The cards I am sending in are ones that I have had since I started collecting in 1981, except for the Milton Bradley's which I got off ebay. That is my second Scott Stevens 10 I submitted and now has a population of 4. I guess I missed the wax stain on the 1983 Gretzky.

  • I just recieved a submission on the 5 day special. I mailed it to PSA on 1/28 (Friday). Recieved and logged in by PSA on 1/31, e-mail with grades yesterday (2/3) cards received today (2/4).

It was a group of 10 mixed cards from a variety of years and sets.

  • What did you use fedex overnight? One day mail time?

I'm still not getting any emails myself.
  • Just Priority insured, but I live 40 miles from PSA. I've always received the grade e-mails, and usually get the cards either the next day or the following day.
