  • You are excluding potential customers by restricting your geographical area.

  • Sure, the last time I had a BIN on one of my auctions, some guy from Malaysia , with zero feedback and freshly registered, ends the auction, and wants me to accept a cashier's check for an amount greater then the auction, and have one of his 'friends' come by and pick up the coin (in Vancouver Canada) and the change.

Then there is the other guy from Singapore, wins my auction after pre-arranging the shipping methods to Singapore, and i never hear from him again.

So yes, I am restricting my potential bidders to Canada and the US, but don't take it personally. When I get serious interest from any bidder from the Isle of Man, I will gladly make an exception if he arranges before the auction ends.

  • I am a serious bidder and seller of Canadian coins and there are many in the UK who would be suitable customers but you have every right to restrict sales if you so wish.

  • Hi Tony, well I would love to hear from them. I've been buying and selling coins on ebay since 1998. and have never had a UK bidder. And I'm not selling RCM junque either, I usually offer high end CDN dollars and cents.
