David Hall....

THANK YOU!! imageimageimageimage

Though I believe that there are probably 6 or 8 more that should be "outta here". Now can we just get all the threads removed so they don't keep getting "replayed" like a bad record?

Sadly, most of the "PSA bashers" will just be back in an month or two under new IDs. Perhaps some IP banning and/or abuse reports to their ISPs are in order?

    To David, Joe, and Carol

Now is the time to implement a new policy that requires all forum members to submit factual personal information that is verifiable by email or phone. For far too long, this forum has been a haven for trolls, hypocrites, and ne'er-do-wells of every flavor. But, they remain anonymous to this community. It is nice to know that certain cretins have been removed, but for future reference, do you not want to prevent the return of those cretins? The current policy will have them back in a week spewing the same ignorant, negative chatter that does nothing but diminish this board to a schoolyard shouting match. Let's keep them out for good!

Thanks for your consideration of my request.

Just contact Carol J if you see anything you think is bogus on the boards. She great at sorting thru all of the bs.

    Con40...Good idea...we'll see if it's doable.

    Thanks,

    David

    David;

I appreciate your reply to my request. I am really impressed you are taking time to address our comments regarding WIWAG and the boards. Thanks very much. I look forward to many positive actions coming out of today's dialogue. image

PS: Don't be a stranger! Nothing beats clear communication straight from the TOP!

As in paying the fee for the gold or plat membership? I am not a member of either level, and I don't believe I have ever been out of line with anyone on these forums. Because of these forums I have begun (I'll grant you that it's been slow) a graded 1977 set, and I'm sure I will ask questions regarding the set from time to time. At this time I don't have any intention of joining at the gold or plat level, as I'm at the stage in my set when I can buy pregraded commons on eBay below the grading cost.

I personally think requiring one of these memberships to post will run off some good posters just because they haven't ponied up the cash...

I agree with Andy. I also agree with Con40 too

Allowing non members to post is good cuz it will sow a seed and maybe they will become a member.

    Good for you.

I for one am not a member of PSA...I have no need to submit hundreds of cards a year for grading...BUT I DO purchase PSA graded cards. I enjoy my access to the message boards and feel it would be a great injustice to those of us who are not members. I learn a great deal from these boards and from time to time may have something to contribute about my knowledge or even trading cards with other board members.
I think ANYONE with good information and good trading values would be a valuable member to any sports card forum.
Im sure there are other ways to keep unwanted influences off these message boards without gouging us all.
    Just my two cents.
