Non Paying Bidders Change on Ebay

I wish they would make a change on Ebay about non paying bidders. I have had two non paying bidders lately (one on a very high priced item). If I leave negative feedback, they will probably just turn right around and do the same, which is very wrong. I think Ebay ought to make it to where you can see how many NPB's a user has. That would solve the problem because the good for nothin' bidder can't seek revenge. Either that, or make it to where a NPB CANNOT leave feedback for that item. That's just my thoughts.

I agree. I have an item that ended 1/7/05 I think. I sent him two invoices and I have not had any response. This was a $400.00 item and I am ticked. I am going to file a Non Paying Bidder if I can figure out how and I guess I will be trading negs with him even though it will ruin my 100% mark.

I was wondering, does eBay allow you to post URLs in the 80 character space alloted for feedback? I was thinking of leaving a NEG for an individual, but the amount of text allowed by eBay doesn't permit me to tell the whole story. I was thinking if it was be possible (at the very least, not against their policy), to simply mark a feedback NEG and then leave "for full story: http://www.mywebpage.com/deadbeat.htm" for text. I can then put a full web page explaining the whole story augmented by screenshots and a copy of the full email dialogue between myself and the twit in question.

Nope, no URL's in the feedback are allowed.

As for exchanging negative feedback, what's the point? Make sure you get your final value fees back. Once a bidder has three (or dour) from different sellers, they are kicked off eBay. In the long run, that is much more effective than messing up your own feedback.

Of course, sellers that don't ship or can be proven to have committed some other fraud (such as item misrepresentation) should also be barred from posting feedback... it's only fair

Yeah it goes both ways. I won an auction 3 days ago and cant get the Seller to email me with his address to send payment. So its like he changed his mind and does not want to sell the item now. In my third email i told him this will be my last email. If you want to sell this item contact me before Midnight tonight. The guy better not file a non paying bidder on me.

I have seen a few sellers on eBay with a lot more then just 3 negatives, and they are still selling.
Last time I was looking around for some cards, I found one seller that had a total of 19 negatives,
and a couple of thousand postives. And he continues to sell on eBay without a problem. So, the
3 negative thing doesn't mean a thing to me.

I don't like the fact that it has to be 3 NPB alerts from 3 different sellers to get
kicked off (NARU). That to me is totally ridiculous. Had some jerk that bid/won 4 items from
me and didn't pay. We exchanged 4 negs for one another with his BS lies
about my communication, etc. What's the difference from 3 NPB from one seller compared
to 3 different ones? I think the sooner they're pop and kicked off....the better. It saves
the 2 other sellers the time, hassle, and potential runaround they're going to get from
the these losers.
