Nickelcade finds

I went with the family to play at Nickelcade today and found some decent nickels in the cups. A 1955, 1961, 1962, (2) 1963, and (6) 1964.

I handle money almost all day, it's always nice to find a War Time one or one with an S mint mark image. Still no 50-Ds from circulation though image.

I remember finding my 50-D out of change in 1994. The only one I never found was the 39-D. A real fun set to do from change.

Personally, I have not found one in years. It seems that there are not a lot of good circulation finds anymore.

  • I just found a 64-D yesterday in change, fairly good condition.

I the last 2 months, i have pulled three 64-D's, two 58-D's and a 55-D from circulation. All in good shape. I also got a '46 wheatie last week as well.
