Card Savers

Anyone know where i can buy some Card Savers I's for cheap.
Ive check out a few places and they were between 6-8 bucks. That price is not too bad but the shipping was over 10 bucks.

TIA

Hate to bring up the obvious, but have you tried ebay yet?

The more you buy, the more you'll save.

Card stores always have 'em, but as carew said in another thread, become a dealer and mark everything up, what was it, 6X ???

I've always bought 'em on da bay - good luck!

Remember they have 2 sizes - the I's and the II's - you probably know that - but I was just making sure!

  • Has anyone made a submission to PSA in top loaders? I got a bunch of these for my parkies and I can't figure out why they would insist on Card Saver I's.
  • I believe that PSA cuts them open to mimimize the chance for damaging the cards top loaders are ver hard to cut open.. Regular top loaders also can allow the card to slide around more in shipping than a card saver will

I just send mine in top loaders/penny sleeves with tape closing off the opening.. I haven't had a problem yet with PSA of SGC. I think the card savers are too flimsy and with a top loader I would expect PSA to just remove the tape and then grab the card with some tweezers (grab the portion of the penny sleeve not the action card) and pull it out.

    Hi Chicago
BCW is a good company to look into and check prices. And also, Hot flips - I have purchased stuff from them. If you really want to save some money, it's probably best to buy a little quantity. I want to say, I bought a case last time - 2000 holders - I used them for everything - so I use them up pretty fast.

  • gonna get more at the next card show, but had to get some off ebay recently. shipping was more than the card savers, but i think I got a hundred for 11-12 bucks i think? paid $6 for shipping, and the actual shipping indeed was the full $6.

That's what I was talking about when suggesting a larger purchase - I paid 70 bucks with the shipping for 2000 pieces if memory serves. In a pinch you did fine - if you needs load, it pays to buy the case IMO.
