Coin World article about the Chinese seller photoshopping PCGS slabs

If you remember a few weeks ago the Chinese seller who had among other things the 1800 "MS58" dollar, the story is in this week's (Feb 7) issue of CW. What I didn't know before was that PCGS was involved in shutting him down.

  • Yep. There is a previous post about the auction. Someone found it, posted it here on the forum and soon eveyone was talking about it. Oh, what fun it was to see this jerk nailed.

    PCGS Mike Sherman said he was made aware of the alleged scam through the Coin Community Watch Program that eBay operates. A number of collectors alerted PCGS through the program, and the grading service took the steps to ensure that the questionable auctions were completely removed from the eBay files, he said.
