Could someone give me the greysheet price for a 1948 PCGS MS66FS Jefferson Nickel, or some recent sales information on this coin?

Thanks,
Charlie

Grey Sheet doesn't list prices for Jefferson nickels, except for a few varieties and early dates.

1948 in MS66FS is a pop 8/0 coin, so I would expect it to be worth a nice little amount!

In fact, the last one that sold in a Heritage auction (last March) brought $2,070!
    When in doubt, don't.
  • Last one at Heritage was in March 2004 for $2,070.

I don't know, but I think Heritage sold one in March 2004 for $2,070.

And Nevadamans reg coin sold for $2300 with Bowers/Merena not too long ago.
Everything starts and everything stops at precisely the right time for precisely the right reason.
