Checked out a NEWP that arrived today with the blacklight, as suggested by Andy Lustig. Had the light anyway to check out English dishware for repairs. Figured the theory would work on coins too.

Picture in the middle is the coin that arrived today. The pic on the left is with the blacklight pre-"white balance". The pic on the right is post "white-balance". Looks more like black balance to me. Anyway, the coin looks to check out just fine so I bought it.....image
