Once when I was waiting outside a team hotel to get some auto's, Will Clark (then of the Rangers) came out and started to sign. Someone had him sign a baseball and asked for the "sweetspot." He obliged and then stated, "So what are you gonna sell that for now? Fifty, sixty bucks?" The autograph seeker then replied, "Don't flatter yourself." Needless Clark was slightly miffed, but nonetheless the rest of us got a chuckle out of it.
On the auto scene Same concept - Mary Lou Rhetton was signing and a guy brought up two things to sign - she retorted in a snotty tone - what ya gonna do - sells these. The guy told her...like sure, your auto is worth a bundle - I'm getting these signed for my sisters...I couldn't even give them away!

Also, does anyone remember baseball's "Kissing Bandit?"
Once I saw a guy trying to get a Donruss Mattingly RC out of a toploader. He held the case between his finger and lightly tapped his hand against his opposing palm. The first couple taps didn't move it, so he tapped a little harder and zing! The card flew out of the topload in a high arc and did a 1-point landing on the floor. Put a nice ding in it. The funny part was that the guy was a jerk of a dealer who had just admonished his customer not to try to get the cards out of the holders, let him do it.
