    I third that! Dalton & Hamer is a great reference, it was written and published from 1910 to 1918 and has all of the flavor of the numismatic publications of that period that you would expect. It is not cheap, expect to pay over $175 for the 2004 reprint, but it is money well spent. You might try to snipe one on eBay, I was able to get mine for about $120 by doing that.

  • That is cheap, but he sells those frequently on eBay and they usually get run up by snipes at the end. Still if you want a D&H his eBay auctions are a good way to get one. Enter your snipe and go for it. If you miss out just keep watching his auctions and you'll get another chance. This is the second one he's had listed in the past month.
