  • Isn't Frederick, MD home to our very own Mike Dixon?

There is one coin/sports card shop in town. I can't think of the name though. Maybe MD will post.

Frederick is my new home. We had snow and ice today! Too bad it wasn't Monday. Then I would get the day off from work. What brings you to Frederick? Most people see DC of Baltimore.

Sorry, I have not gone to any dealers in Frederick.

I used to live in Germantown. Try Golden Eagle Coin in Laurel (~45 minute drive from Frederick, closer to BWI). Forum member Julian has a shop in Silver Spring with mostly high end material. Coins of the Realm in Rockville on Rte. 355 is good, but smaller. You will have to drive a bit to get to the big dealers that trade in nicer coins. These guys are most likely to have a lot of coins to look at.

Went to Frederick to see employees of mine.....I work for JP Morgan Chase and we have a site right there in Frederick image

By the way I did go buy a baseball card shop that sold coins and stamps as well. Picked up an 1884-O Morgan that looks like it should go MS65 for $50 and I also bought an Englehard 10 oz bar for $70 bucks........don't know why just always liked chunks of silver image

Hey...if you are still in town Wednesday you might try to go down to Gaithersburg (20min drive down 270) to Gaithersburg Coin Exchange.

He is a bullion dealer and has many rotating showcases of coins. A pretty big selection. I'd offer to meet up with you but have to go to Baltimore. Hope your stay in Frederick was nice!
  • Well Shane, I am glad you get to see how we suffer in the cold and snow, while you floridians get all the heatimage
