I love the liberty halves.... :)

Picked this one up today. Nice green label coin to fill an open slot. image

  • Nice score! I too, love Walkers.image
What is money, in reality, but dirty pieces of paper and metal upon which privilege is stamped?
  • I've got a 1941 & 1944 walker(along with 6 other NGC MS-65 halves) in for crossover at PCGS, but they are not as clean as this one. So, I took the time to upgrade both of them this week. Here's the 1944 that I bought on Monday. Both MS-66 coins. image

  • That 44's SWEET. My best is a 38 in 65 with obv. gold toning around the periphery. I'm awaiting the submission results of a 46 DDR I sent most recently to ANACS.

Out of curiousity.... why did you send the DDR to ANACS? I've got a PCGS 44D in 65 with gold toning around the edges(obverse/reverse). Something about the toning that makes it outstanding looking with a blast white coin, but the minor ticks drove me into looking for a better coin. I'm going to put that coin(along with all the NGC rejects from the crossover attempt) up for sale on Ebay when they come in. My worst enemy was actually buying some high grade walkers(1941, 1944, 1944D, 1945D... all MS66) as it sets benchmarks. And I have a nice PCGS 65 1938D.
