Today's VAM Findings. Yes, I finally posted some scans. :-)

I got board, so I went back and looked through the bunch of Peace Dollars that I looked through last Saturday. They were still in the back of the shop because the owners had not done anything with them yet.

Here is what I found. All are pretty much circulated VF to AU, but still good finds. Please let me know what you think. Thank you for looking.

1) 1922-P VAM 6 Top 50. Found three of these.
2) 1922-P VAM 1D. Die gouge between IN and GOD. VAM Update R4.
3) 1922-P VAM 2E Top 50. I am 95% sure this is an early die state because the break on the reverse is nowhere near as large as the one I bought earlier this week. Take a look at the scans below. What do you think?
4) 1922-D. This has a great die break around and through the Y of LIBERTY. Don't know which VAM it is. Any ideas?? Scans below.
5) 1922-D VAM 1H. Die break left obverse. VAM Update R7.
6) 1923-P VAM 3 Top 50.
7) 1923-D VAM 1K. Die break above 1. VAM Update R6.
8) 1923-S VAM 1M. Spiked eagle. VAM Update R5.

Found it..VAM 1D Die Break Y High - Ashmore's working again And very cool I might add.

Becky, I just pulled up Ashmore. Take a look at VAM 1J. The one with the retained cud. I think that is it. What do you think?

Yes, the 2E looks EDS. And that's a terrific break on the Y with rim-to-rim crack...nearing or is actually a retined cud. You may want to clean
her up a little with MS70 to get a close look.

I'm sticking with 1D, your coin looks exactly like the picture on Ashmore.

Ahhh...I never pulled up the picture page before. I always went off the text descriptions. The pictures really do help.

Unbelievable. I wish I had that kind of luck searching through Peace dollars. I either don't know enough or need some of your luck (or most likely, both).
