<< <i>I'd guess your auction title and description are typos, right? I'm sure you are aware that PCGS has never graded an 1887-O in MS69, much less an entire roll. You might want to fix this error before eBay and bidders get the wrong idea about your intentions. >>
i know the owner and he's trustworthy and not some con artist, been in business quite a long time with his father and now owns/runs the business. he has no reason to pull a scam and really, it isn't anywhere near his style.
more than likely it's a typo, but as is usual here, we don't look before we leap....................to the wrong conclusions. it's no wonder so many leave after awhile or cut back on involvement.
i'm not defending him and he isn't a crook, that seems to have been established. it's a common problem actually, with bulk sellers and listings often done by an employee.
without getting into any drawn out squabble, please explain to me and the U.S. Coin Forum about how i always defend these crooks on the board and list a few examples. i'm intrigued.
hey, i just noticed something funny. both tree boy and GAT have their profiles concealed. the smoke is clearing as another forum truth gains strength-----those who like to accuse are usually those who also like to remain unknown.
Simple enough, he probably 10-keyed in the grade. Some numpads have the 123 row at the bottom with the 789 row at the top, and some have the 789 row at the bottom with the 123 row at the top.
He probably thought he was keying with the other type of numpad and just put in 69 instead of 63 and didn't proofread it. Hardly a scam.

It'll be interesting to see how he responds.

I suspect these are actually MS63s.
I just sent this kind, knowledgeable person this question. Will await his response.
