Should I buy now or wait?

I'm trying to finish my late fathers Buffalo Nickel collection. The collecting bug has hit me pretty good. I have an eye on a few Buffalos to put in the set. My questions are:
Should I buy now or do you think the prices may come down and buy later?
Do the prices of Buffalos ever go down?
Do you think I could find anything "worth while" in rolls of Buffalos?

I think one would have to know the grade and rarity of the coin you are talking about.

Common mid-grade and lower don't have much up-down swing to the prices.....buy now and enjoy it.

Rare, high-grade, WOW coins probably have a more volatile existance...but I don't know enough to tell if buying now is good or bad

chances are if you are trying to finish a set that the only coins left in the set are the better dates.... I also assume you are doing a circulated set...

I don't forsee them going down much in price if at all in the foreseeable future. The buffalo dollar and the new nickels probably sparked some interest in the series.

The key dates are always going to be hot and buffs are always a popular series.

I would have to agree with goose3. I don't see demand for buffalo nickels getting soft. However, if we knew what the future was going to do.....we would all be rich. Good luck on finishing that set. It is a tough set.

If the remaining coins you need are the rarer ones, then I'd go for them even if it's just one here and there when you can afford it. The series has always been popular and the key dates shouldn't lose their value. good luck.
