I dunno Who this guy is But he gets on my last nerve

I dunno.......This Half Dime is waaaaaay cool. If I'm seeing this right that 1857 had a really nice Die Crack right on DIME

He does this double coin bit way too much. Even though this coin is cleaned and overgraded I would bid just because of the crack in that thing. But I don't want that 1853 and Aint no way Im paying that kinda cash for that 1857. I've emailed him before about a coin he had in a 2 coin lot like this and he says that they are consignment deals and can't break the coins up. image I wonder how many people pass because of this.

Seems to me that the seller can group his lots as he/she chooses and you can make whatever suggestions you want.

Now that is an interesting statement.

    Is that "earnie"?
  • I know... there's plenty of times where I've been interested in one of Ernies coins... but, it'd be grouped with another coin... and I was like... screw dat!!

  • This guy puts such high prices on his stuff it's a wonder any of it ever sells.
Just send him an email and ask him to list them seperately next time thru.
He relists this same stuff for years on end.
He doesn't make a dime, but Ebay sure does.

  • Lathmach,

I have, He wont sell them seperate.

He also had a really nice Bust Quarter with a not so great Bust quarter piggy backing. I was willing to go over budget on the single coin I wanted so I emailed him and asked if he would split them. He tells me no. So I had to pass. Sucks too cause I really really liked that quarter.

See if he'll combine the quater you want with the dime you want. image

He's had the same "sticker dollars" up for bid at least 5 times. Thing is, I'd bid if he'd start at a reasonalble price, they might even get close to what he's asking.

I highly doubt that he will do this. If you look through his auctions you will see that most have an interesting coin with one that aint so great. He is using the one coin to try to move the other since the other won't bring much on its own. Also If you read the auction title there is usually 2 grades. (Example) 1851 and 1854 VF- XF.
Grade them high and sell them at highest Grade.....actual grade.....not that high.
