First Strike

I picked up a 2005 ms-69 first strike Silver Eagle for my modern type set circulation only and
suprised my cert. number is not valid for this set. Does anyone know if this is correct ? I was
hoping to have a $5 gold and $10 plat. for the set as well.

Probably a Mechanical Error, send an email to the Set Registry with the scan on the holder and they will fix it for you.

Thanks. They did respond asking the cert. # of the coin and the name of my set. In the e-mail
I just asked a general question if first strike coins were allowed in that set. When I entered the
cert. # it did not say that cert. # was registered to another set but that that coin was not part of
the set I was trying to enter it into.

I believe that it is because those won't be set eligible for a few months.

Happened to me last year with my 2004. It was not until most of the year was gone that I could enter it.
