Are all baseball post cards the same size?

I'm considering bidding on a 1976 Cleveland Indians post card set, mainly to get ONE card out of the bunch, that i'd submit for grading. The maximum size that PSA will slab is 3.5 x 5.5, which i THINK is the size of the post cards, but i'm not sure. It's not listed in the 2005 SCD (but it IS listed in the 2003 SCD!), but size not listed. I e-mailed the seller and asked him to measure it and let me know, but he hasn't written back.

Does anyone have one of these issues to know for sure?

Can't help you with your question, but if Tom Buskey is part of the set and that is not the one you need, I'd be willing to buy it from you to to lessen the impact of buying a whole set just for one card. If possible, send me a PM.
    Thanks,

I received your PM, but can't seem to send a reply. It appears you have your ability to receive PMs turned off. Go to your "Profile" and make sure you have "Allow Private Messages" checked to ON.
    Thanks!

Something funky is going on with the network connection tonight. I see that my ONE reply was sent to you 26 TIMES. Not sure how that happened. Sorry. Kind of funny, yet kinda annoying also.

I have the 04 Standard Cat and the 76 Indians postcards are 3.5x5.5 - the set books at 45$ NM and the most valuable card is the Eckersley at 10 bucks and then the Boog Powell at 7.50$.

  • Thanks Mike. The seller finally wrote back and said the size was 3-1/4 x 5-1/4, but either way is fine--they WILL fit the PSA holders. Actually the only card i'm interested in is the coaches card, that has Colavito. In fact, i don't think the Eckersly card is even in this set; he probably sold that one separately.
