Hello all,
Why is this auction running so high for a card with "some soft corners" and that has a very small scan? The bid is above what the SMR is for a "7" on this card (which is tough to get). Hmmm...In case this isn't showing up as a link you can click on (anyone know how to do that?) it's auction #5159091570.

I think this auction is for a yankees team set. The munson looks centered, which is tough, but 100 bucks?
I wonder if this is just a case of people seeing other people bidding on it (it's got 16 bids and is up to $138 so far) and thinking they should bid too. I'm always looking for gradeable Munsons, but for this to be worth it you'd almost have to get an "8" on the card, which is doubtful.
<< <i>he has 16 bids, 15 of them are from 2 bidders. i would guess they both gotta have it and enjoy trying to outbid the other no matter how much they overpay. >>
...or it's an inside bidding scheme to help boost the final bid, or ensure it doesn't get sold for less than they want to get for it.
PM me with offers, for a full list, or to request a list of team/player cards you need.
