Angled glass, different lights ... Is one pic better than the other?

Not that I could possibly compete with Wybrit, Cosmicdebris, Cacheman, Darkhorse, or all the other Darksiders who take such awesome pics, but I'm trying to get the hang of it ![image](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif)
First pic taken with a "full spectrum" bulb; second one with a regular 100 watt incandescent bulb. One light aimed right at the angled glass, no photoshop except to combine the images into one. Your input would be greatly appreciated![image](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif)
edit to add: If they both suck, lemme know that, too![image](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif)

Personally I'd say that the first pic looks better than the second. The colours on the second image look a bit washed out to me!

Not bad for a first attempt though, Tom.
