2005 Britannia has Arrived

Here's 2 images of it. First one taken using 2 lights from the sides, second image using 1 light and shot through angled glass. Nothing done in Photoshop except cropping and merging the 2 sides into one image.

Very nice pics though, I prefer the second as you see more detail on the reverse

So do I. I think Nathan Phillip did a great job again on these and the RBM should have let him do the St. George on the 2005 SOV too.

All they have on the BRM's website is:

New Britannia design for 2005

Silver Bullion to be launched on 3rd January
Gold Proof to be launched on 30th May
Silver Proof to be launched on 5th September

I am hoping for another matte proof one like the 2003 version.

Jiminy Cricket!! The U.S. Mint are a bunch of lightweights compared to BRM in the marketing department.

I think I'll order some of those spiffy blazer buttons.
