Is Heritage shipping Department Slacking?

I am probably impatient but, last weeks bullet sale and internet auction I picked up one piece from each auction, paid immediately and still and empty mailbox. The previous bullet auction I waited about two and half weeks, empty mailbox, I finally called them and though I had paid immediately following the auction, my coin was hanging out in never never land, it was immediately shipped after the phon call.

Maybe I am just being difficult, but I remember when a winning bid from the tuesday auctions was in my mailbox on that friday.

Guess I will check the mailbox tomorrow...

  • It seems to me that if your outstanding balance is over $1000.00 they hold shipment until they get payment.
If balance is under $1000.00 they ship immediately.

Didn't they auction about 11,000 coins at FUN? I imagine they're a bit backlogged at the moment.

My two Bullet coins arrived today.
    When in doubt, don't.

It's not reallly tough to ship coins.

I've had 2 coins delayed after payment, for a total of 13 days. One was in early December, the other I'm still waiting for. They need to get the shipping act together, it's getting old.

I received an e-mail that my coin was shipped yesterday.
  • I have never owed Heritage a balance and have never received a coin purchased in any of their venues in under two weeks. They also charge the most of any auction house for shipping/handling.image

  • I find Heritage to be the quickest auction house when it comes to shipping. Just got my auction lot that I won today from ANR's last auction. I payed over the phone by credit card as quick as they would take the payment...once the auction ended. With Heritage I pay online once they post my invoice....and get my coins fairly quick.

They're probably trying to figure out where their 1950 MS67 red cent was shipped to.

The 1878-S VAM 91 that I bought from the continuous internet auction two weekends ago just got here today! I also bought a heavily clashed 1886-O from Tuesday night's auction. The sent notification that it has been shipped which means I'll have it by Saturday or Monday.
