Greetings darkside folks,
How is everyone? Much has happened since I went yeti. A few things seemed to have hit all at once We finally relocated into our new house which my wife had to deal with the bulk of during my absence along with other small problems. Now comes the painting, ripping out things and getting comfy. It really is beautiful where we have moved and we are now even closer to Canada We have moved about 30 mins North of Mt. Washington. It's been between -16 to -10 in the mornings, without the wind chill, and maybe warming to about 10 during the day. I bought myself a new digital camera a Nikon coolpix 4300 with a case, extra batteries with charger and a 256 MB memory card. I picked it up for less then $200 bucks. I'll be taking some pics of the house plus some new coins I've gotten. I got this wonderful 1965 anniversary proof set from Austria from history geek and some other coins I can't wait to photograph.
I also picked 1813 Irish 10 pence silver bank token today

Cheers,
Micheál

You have a Mt. Washington?
By the way you missed a certain 1806/5 Farthing's arrival.

<< <i>Welcome back Micheál. Nice Irish Bank Token.
By the way you missed a certain 1806/5 Farthing's arrival. >>
Outstanding Bill!! I like your pics of this coin much better than the seller's pics. When I saw the seller's pics I didn't think the Farthing was proof. But your images capture an excellent 1806 proof farthing. Can I be jealous now??? What a beautiful piece!!!!
<< <i>Welcome back MSD61. I'm going through the exact same moving thing right now. My bonus is, I don't have to move in a hurry. I'm fixing up one, while living in the other. Probably will make the final move in a couple weeks. Right now I'm werkin' my butt off in the new place. to please the ole lady. >>
Pleasing the 'ol lady is a very good thing!! We were fortunate that we don't have much ripping out and painting to do. It's more like "why did they paint this room like this?" and some cleaning stuff going on. My wife said the worst part was the actual moving because one, it was so very cold and two, the roads were not very clear. Then on top of that our house is on a major hill and the movers were afraid that the truck, even though the wheels were chalked, was going to slide down the hill. Of course al my coins where moved by us and not the movers
Congrats on the new home.
