  • Forget the holder -- you see that starting bid price? Is that what the WI quarters are going for?

I thought they were $250- $300 for all three not certified.
  • It's a large number for a modern MS66 quarter, which are pretty darn common in today's mint sets.

  • I hope these things turn up in quarter rolls. So far, the only place I have heard of actually acquiring them was at FUN. How does a fellow on the left coast “find” them?

Please pardon my ignorance but why is this auction titled MS 67 when the label clearly shows 3 MS 66 coins? image

    Typo perhaps?
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
  • It says in the text of the auction that thats a stock photo and the sets they are selling are MS-67. Still, $1k... wow.
  • If you read the auction description, the seller states that the photo is a stock photo of a 66 set but, what he is selling is a 67 set. I would think that with that kind of starting price he would show the actual coins that he is selling, unless of course he is waiting for them to get back from ngc. I bought a raw set for $250 and I'm waiting on those to get here. Then its off to pcgs they go.

    Thanks for the link. imageimage

I suspect the ones on ebay for $250 are not selected for quality and could be the left overs. You probably have to send in 100 coins of each to NGC and let them mix and match them into sets.

I emailed a ebay seller, asking if they had anymore - bought 10 @ $10 apiece. imageimage

  • Rick is selling those coins...I knew he had quite a few sets....nice ROI if you can get the sets cheap. I agree that just because you have a raw set doesn't mean it's going to come back MS67.......only time will tell if these coins are a good long term investment. Right now the possibility looks good...................how many are still out there.....that is the million dollar question image

I bought a set from Rick at FUN before he said, in effect, "Wait a minute - I'm selling these too cheap". Should ahve bought more, I guess. image
