1965 SMS (need some advice Russ)

This thread comes after reading past threads about the 1965 SMS sets.
I have several 1965 SMS sets and don't really know what the grading criteria is.
I've looked at auction pics (Heritage and Teletrade). It is not evident to me , the difference between MS and cameo grades of many of these.
Generally, I don't see the big diff between the two grades.( I do know about steps, to some degree)
These sets were unopened as they are almost clones of each other and in an original mailing box from the mint with post marks and such. Each set has the same appearance of proof strike (visual light reflection in the fields which is quite deep)and almost every coin is mark free. Only under 5x are some small ticks or hairlines evident. I am unsure of the grade as I don't see any frosty /white contrast of the portrait against the fields.
I know the cameo effect is not as pronounced on the SMS sets, esp. 1965.
These Kennedy halves are very nice, white and brilliant with deep reflective fields , mark free , and sharply struck. Then there are are some that look like dipped spotting, maybe.
NOT! Original mint packaging.
Maybe the man can help me?
I saw the SMS post of cameo vs ms grades. I couldn't apply either photo to mine. They are not deep cam. It's the cameo vs MS grade that I ponder.
Please provide some input Russ???

If there is no contrast, they are not cameos. For SMS coins to have value above the price of the set, they need to be at least cameo. Then if cameo, for 1965 they'd need to be at least MS66CAM, with the exception of the Lincoln which has value in any grade if it is a cameo.

These are real nice original set coins. There are only a couple ms 65 coins in these sets.
I'd give them '66 grades and even 67's. Maybe a couple cameos.]
