Just wondering what the opinions were of these raw coins. First I dont necessarily agree with the grades, I think more along 63/4, not 65/66...but the question at hand is....do they look cleaned?
Cleaned or not?
thanks,
tom

Family, kids, coins, sports (playing not watching), jet skiing, wakeboarding, Big Air....no one ever got hurt in the air....its the sudden stop that hurts. I hate Hurricane Sandy. I hate FEMA and i hate the blasted insurance companies.

<< <i>My grandfather, POP, was a famous scientist who invented many of the conveniences we commonly use today- retractable seat belts for one! He also was a Gem BU rolled-coin collecting fanatic and brought me into the hobby as a young boy. >>
He tells a good story.
Notice how all his images are shot at a severe angle? Great way to hide blemishes and flaws.

Coins were not as described so I sent them back. He claimed he
never got them and I never got a refund.
Do the coins looked cleaned? I would say they are either cleaned
or the pictures were taken in such a way as to hide their problems. It also
hides the luster and detail: making the *look* cleaned.

I tend to stay away from the obviously fake stories with 45% angled pictures... but many dont.
Kind of like the guy who has every single raw MS68 Jefferson in existance on Feebay and continues to easily find them(cause all of his Jeffs are MS68)... interesting that everyone just keeps giving him positive feedback, but his prices are weak.
