Why won't PCGS admit that I won the 'World Series of Grading' @ FUN show?

When I graded the coins, I would have swore I was told they would email results sometime the week following the FUN show. Still no results. I conclude they're trying to figure out how to explain my score of 100%image

Ha! Geez...I hope everyone realized I was joking. Have no idea what I scored. Hope I improved from last years humiliation of 52 points.

No, I didn't no grade a counterfeit. I knew I was screwing up by not seeing at least one. Since there were a lot of $20 gold pieces, I figured one was probably bad, but I was running out of time and didn't have time to go back and try to figure it out. Was it a gold piece that was bad?

  • Yes, there was an oh so beautiful St. Gaudens there... The PCGS guy wouldn't tell you how you did but he did manage to confirm that # (BLANK) was indeed counterfeit.

  • 100% wrong or a 100% right?

    100% wrongimage

I hope not! I think I get some points for just showing up and signing my name.

Kurthorn...your PM is not on...so tell me, what was the give-away on the Gold counterfeit. What did you see that gave it up. I did look for raised bumps on the surfaces as a give away for cast counterfeits...but didn't see anything suspicous on that front. What did I miss?
