Don't know about Greysheet, but CoinWorld lists it at $1200.00 and Numisexpert at $1252.00.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

  • Are you serious?? An AU55 was $950 a year and a half ago!! image

    Shoulda bought a few, Jonesy.
  • My VF35 was only $550 in March (listed at $850-$900 now). Geez, these things have been going up a lot, especially considering how many of them are out there.
  • Greysheet bid is $975; ask is $1,075 in AU. The coin was readily available several years ago. Not so anymore. Is someone accumulating a large herd of them?

In September 2002, bid and ask were $600 and $650 in AU.

I have heard rumors of a game that supposedly is now being played by a group of wealthy collectors. They select a popular coin and wager a rather large sum as to who can amass the largest quantity of the coin with specific criteria over a period of time. Could this be happening with the 3-legged Buffalo? No idea if this is true or not - strictly something heard a year or so ago.
