  • Hey everyone, thanks for the welcome.
I collect all sports, mostly graded, but raw mint rookies, nice condition vintage, select game used and auto,s. plus anything else that catches my eye. Also got a question that maybe someone can answer, in vintage topps baseball, like for example the 66 set, are dodgers and yankee unlisted cards still 1.25 x the regular value of unlisted ??? if not, is there still any premium for them ?? I'm about to trade some, and I don't have a hard copy beckett handy right now....

    Thanks
  • Actually I used to collect the "lamps" image for REAL !!!! But I stopped, and I'm now content with my favorite one !

    Thanks.

Unfortunately, Beckett no longer lists the common prices (or multipliers) for vintage sets anymore. The values for these sets don't move too much so 1.25x should be pretty good. You can rest assured because of the popularity of these teams, there will probably always be a slight premium for their commons from this era. BTW, welcome to the boards. image

I would bet that one does not need permission to use the bong with a suffix of 420

it's called freedom of expression, YOU COMMUNIST. I think your more stoned than I am for having the name Southern cards w/ a Yankee logo. I'm not going to get into a flame war or anything, but if you don't like it, you should check the number of Americans who actually smoke, and check the number of "officers " who will never stop it from happening. Oh, to be a patriot with Herbert Hoover aspirations......

Oh, and thanks to the guy who gave me the 66 Topps info. in a post above !

Falcons - First off, let me point out to you that my comment could have been taken either way, depending on how it was read.

Secondly, thank you for "not getting into a flame war" by calling me a Communist and accusing me of being stoned.

As far the Southerncards/Yankee logo issue you have, allow me to explain so that you may sleep easier tonight. I live in the south and collect cards, hence Southerncards. I am also a Yankee fan, hence the Yankees logo. Can someone who lives in the south not support the greatest baseball franchise ever without stirring up some ancient civil war type animosity?

welcome, there are many collectors here with much wisdom. This is the place to ask questions. Knowledge is power.

    Kevin

I would suggest you give the beckett board another chance, there are bunch of kids there, but the info on modern cards
    is second to none.
