Common date MS67 Saints have virtually always sold at auction for between $7000 and $9000. Even in 2004 with gold up they fell within this range. At the Heritage FUN auction every thing went totally wild. Chech out these prices realized.
1925 MS67 $13800
1928 MS67 $13800
1924 MS67 $19550
1926 MS67 $19550
1925 MS67 $32200
Usually when a coin is bid up too high everyone else just throws in the towel at about $10000 but this was absolutely rediculous. Even the loser/s risked having to pay more than double what these coins are actually worth. And it is not like
the grading services are not giving out 67's, to date they have done so over 300 times. The guy at Heritage said that these were all outstanding 67's worthy of 68 consideration. Hogwash, they could not have been any different than other 67's
Getting a 68 Saint is like winning the lottery, it just does not happen.
So what happened here, could it be new investors who were given poor advise or what ?

I started lightening up today. Quite a bit lighter, in fact. Switching into bullion for the time being.
Too much "chasing"
