Have 4 of them....Now, one rests in a PCGS holder and now 2 are in NGC's. I just never sent these last 2 to PCGS. I had a order for NGC and away they went. The only one left is the last coin 27D. I'll send it to either place depending where I slab'em next.

I edited this thread.....The original threads are really old...
<< <i>I think the toning happened naturally. Whether or not a grading service would find it market acceptable is another matter, though.

I don't know if they are market acceptable, but they sure are nice looking even though they are not high graded and since my picture talking needs to be improved I can see where all the original opinions where coming from.
I would have been with the majority also if I was looking at the pics and didn't have the coins in my hand. This type of toning on Peace dollars, I'm guessing is not seen to often and that's where the questions of toning came into play.

"Questionable Toning" bags recently too be objective on these.

<< <i>That toning is Very Unusual on a Peace Dollar. I wonder if it's market acceptable in a MS-65/6 too? I've had a few too many

When they are grading coins that sheet out at 50 bucks or so it seems they're a tad more lenient than when they're dealing with coins in 4 digit land, (IMHO).
