I just checked out the last 3 months of Coins magazine from the library for some light reading. I noticed that there's tons of ads throughout and classifieds in the back. Are the ads even worth looking through or should I avoid them like the plague and just read the articles?

    I dropped my subscription to COINS and now only receive CoinWorld and Numismatic News. When I first started collecting I bought from a few of those ads you're talking about. Most of it was junk and I no longer own any of it. Most went on ebay. Just my opinion, but STAY AWAY from the ads and enjoy the articles.!!!

    For the most part, avoid like the plague.

    Thanks guys. I was guessing I should avoid them. If I actually decide to buy a subscription I'll probably get CoinWorld, it seems like i've heard more good things about that one than any other.
