In all seriousness, though, I think this is a great idea. It takes the offers of the buyers (& acceptance of them by the sellers) out of the shadows/grey area & lets all be above board AND don't forget, helps eBay get their cut.
Obviously an expected revenue positive response to many of the fees they feel they are losing from sellers cutting deals on the side with people.
