Son of a gun !! It looks like I never will be able to make a No Band 25P for my set. The coin that was sent in got the Full Band designation. It certainly was not bought for Full Band money. In fact it was busted out of another slab that did not say FB. Darn It anyway....image

On the brighter side the 29S that was bought raw at the Portland ANA show went 66FB. This one had a shot at 67 I thought. The 66FB grade is just fine though.

On the Darker side again. My $19.00 raw 1924P only went AU55. Man I missed something on this one. Oh well you cant win them all.

SOMEONE PLEASE SELL ME A 1925P NO BAND COIN WITH SOME COLOR.

    Ken,

    Congrats on the grades. Are you going to list the full band coins in your no band set, or maybe start another full band set? Does my 1919-S have a shot at Full bands. (Sorry I couldn't resist.)

    Tony if that 19S had a shot at FB you would have never got it......image Oh Yea....Rub it in.....image

    Hey do you need a nice 29S in 66FB ? Light Tone and absolutely mark free. I need No Band money......

    The set stays at NB except for my 27D that was put in. When a nice 64 NB 27D is found then it will go "Poof".

    Marc it is my favorite date. Strangly though a for sure mint state no band coin cannot be found. A few weeks ago I thought one was found but when I called they could not find the coin. This one went 64FB which grade wise was what I had it at.

    You know if you want to dump the garbage Full Banders, let me know what dumpster they are going in so I can be inside waiting!

    Hey Ken,

    I have a 29-s in a 65FB I might be interested in upgrading to a 66FB image PM me or send me e-mail with how much??

    On a different note, I sent all those nice raw/colorful Mercs in for grading some time ago. They should be done by this Friday -- I thought they all had FB except the 27-D. If it comes back as NB it's yours. Perhaps we can swing a trade for your 27-D with FB.

    Meanwhile, ping me on your 29-S 66FB.
