Anybody here know Classic $5's (or atleast have a Breen)

My 1836 has doubling in Liberty mostly the RT and a repunched 1. You can see the underdigit 1 poking out the top. Is there anything on this in Breen?

    Nothing in Breen on the variety you describe, but that does not mean it has not been described elsewhere. You may want to begin checking auction catalogs (Bass, Eliasberg, Pittman, Norweb, etc), the Bass collection online, or Akers book on half-eagles. Best of luck.
