Someone posted a link to an EBay auction on another forum, about a "mystery token", dated 1760. Someone else pinpointed it as Russian, and with that lead I was able to determine that it was C#5, a copper denga (1/2 kopek) of Empress Elizabeth. That had some personal meaning for me, as the Russian name of my mother's birthplace translates to "Elizabeth City", named after the 18th Century Empress.
And now, with a little help from a sniping program while I was out riding my bike, IT'S MINE, (and for less than half of the Krause VG value).
