Reimage #8 Poll, Take #2

OK, Askari asked for TL lighting and he got it.

Here is the eighth in a limited series, but it comes with a poll.

Subject: 1859 sixpence, one of my former sig line coins.

(1) Scan:


(2) Digicam using direct lighting


(3) Digicam using topside lighting.


(4) Digicam using topside lighting, but coming from the left ("northwest").


I've already posted my favorite shot to the "museum," but would like your opinion and comments.

#2 is still my favorite due to the detail and lack of a lighting "flare" anywhere distracting, but I'd bet the color is more accurate in #4.

I picked #4 because it shows the details and the lustre. (A combination of 2 + 3)

I like #2 because it has a warm look to it, but you should pick the one that looks most like the coin.

I voted for #4 because it shows the lustre of the surfaces

I voted for #2 for the "warmth". #3 seemed a bit "cold" and put me off, #4 seemed a bit dark which also put me off.

#2 looks like she's having hot flashes. #3 is nice, but #4 is as good yet with what I suspect is closer to the natural color.
