Name a coin that Greysheet value is not even close on.

For the early type coins I like and collect, it is the draped bust quarter. Greysheet is $1650-$1800 on an AU example, yet you can't find a nice one for under $3000. Are there other coins that are this far off and why is this?

1856 S-3 Flying Eagle cents in PCGS MS65 holders. Bid is $43K, I would pay double that for a nice one.image

1916-D Mercury Dime...most examples sell for at least 2X bid:

Example: MS64FB bid around $16k -- last one sold for $28,750

MS63FB bid around $8k -- last one sold for $17,500 and some are out there north of $18k

so many to name, but the three coins I bought recently at FUN. Sheet price is meaningless:

    1799 Large Cent
1880 Shield Nickel (not the proof)
    1849-o Seated Quarter

Thier is an additional coin that I am seeking in march that I expect to have to go three times the listed sheet price on(one of the cc quarters)

They used to not even be close on early red Lincolns, but I haven't seen greysheet prices in a while.

Not really a coin but pre 1950 proof sets, most dealers have to pay twice ask.

Virtually all of the Morgan key dates in DMPL are absurd jokes. Take the 1893-S for instance. Forget for a moment that the total known population is zero, but the Grey Sheet lists DMPL prices in MS63, MS64 and MS65 that are LOWER than non-DMPL coins.

Credibility in the marketplace? Who needs credibility?
    When in doubt, don't.
