1/1 Autograph Card For Sale Or Trade

I have available for sale or trade a very rare and desirable autograph error card. Why you ask is this card so desirable? The person to sign this card is the first person to have certified autographs in a Baseball, Basketball, Football, Hockey and Golf set.

All of these cards are real and are certified autographs from UD, Fleer, Playoff, Donruss and Topps.

The first card available is a Duce Staley card but it isn't autographed by Duce Staley, it is autographed by David Peters. I know there was only one of these cards signed by David Peters which makes it very rare especially since Fleer guarantees its authenticity and that it is signed by Duce Staley.

2000 Fleer Tradition Autographics Silver Duce Staley (121/250)

This card has a COA printed right on the back direct from Fleer and it reads,

Fleer/Skybox International LP hereby certifies that this Fresh Ink card has been personally autographed by Duce Staley.

This certificate expressly warrants the authenticity of the depicted athlete's signature.

Lloyd Pawlak
Senior Vice President
Fleer/Skybox International LP

Please also watch for future 1/1 cards including a Terry Bradshaw certified autograph signed by David Peters and a Randy Moss certified autograph signed by David Peters and a dual card signed by Steve Yzerman and David Peters.

I'm confused as to why you continue to play this game.

    Game? What game?

    It really is quite simple.

    I have some cards.

    The cards are errors.

The companies know about the errors but refuse to do anything.

Beckett refuses to list them as corrceted errors even though they are.

So all I am trying to do is make the cards I have worth something.

On a plus note to all of this I have made the Hobby a better place as I have seen less and less errors now in the past year or two.

    I know I shouldn't do this but -

    Who exactly is David Peters?

David Peters is the man Dr. James Beckett fears.

David Peters is the man who brought Playoff, Fleer and UD to their knees.

David Peters is the first person to have certified autographs in Baseball, Basketball, Football, Hockey and Golf sets.

Finally David Peters is man who once loved to collect cards but is disgusted at how the hobby is today.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you aren't the first person with a certified error auto those 5 sports. It has already been done and the person that did it also has one in Racing, Tennis, and Wrestling.

    edited to add:
Yes, the same person signed all 8 cards.

Well first off, you give yourself way too much credit within this post. Do you have any figures to support your claims of less errors? Further, I am certain that Dr. Beckett and those few card companies could care less about your existence. Do you think that you have anything on them that matters? Further, you cannot tell me that they have made no offerings to correct the problem. My guess is that you have asked for something well above what these cards are worth and they will not comply. I have no problems with companies correcting problems, other than the length of time it takes.

Second, I could care less if you want to deface some cards with your signature, but you may want to better explain your situation when posting about these cards. There's nothing desirable about an error autograph card that wasn't signed, so you decided to write your name on it. It's really no different than the stories where people used to use chemicals to remove parts of an auto on a card and adding something else to them. The card may have been rare when there was no auto, but it is simply a card that has been defaced when you write on it.

No, I'm not debating it at all. There is no debate, as the correct spelling of the word requires two n's. Thanks...
