I don't know if this question had been asked before, but anyway here is the question.
What will you do with your collections when you are very old? Sell them? Give to your children?
I am 18, so I am not sure what I will do. All I want to do now is to collect more cool coins.

You have to admire high aspirations!!
I can't believe a lot of people would want their coins buried with them.... what about future generations of numismatists???

If he says 40, I'm going to hit him with my cane and throw a bottle of Geritol at his head.

A little of both.
I'd say you have a while before you need to worry about that.
T2;
If you don't pass'em on to them, you can always pass'em on to ole T1.

now there's a thought.
I'll pm my vital information so you can give it to your attorney. He'll in turn give it to the Register of Wills in your area. Thank you.

Calm down Pharmer, that's an error in the movie. The fall of Troy took place before the invention of coins.

40 isn't old. But 50 is
I'd like to give them to my son (or grandkids) if he's interested enough. I guess I'll find out in another 50 years or so.
Complete Dime Set
Seriously, I have 12.3 grandchildren (will save some coins for them) and 50 is NOT old. I don't have a cane yet, but I do have a mean goat and a mean rooster.

My thoughts exactly! But I am only 25 right now, so I hopefully have a while to decide yet.
