Edited 1941-D and 1942-S WLH, Bought 2 for 5 Bucks, Did i get a deal?

I went to get my nicotine fix, Lady know's i collect coins, said some guy just spent these and a couple silver certificates for a pack of Marlboro's, She said she wanted to keep the Silver notes, But would sell me the 2 Walker's for 5 bucks. The other Walker is a 1941-D, looks to be in better condition than this one, But i liked the toning on it, even the fingerprint on the rev. is toned. I figure the person who spent them, must have stolen them out of someones collection. I admit i need to quit smoking, But his habit must be pretty bad to spend the coins...
