Hi Robert....I love threes.....some of the best coins around. Super low mintages, cool dates, neat denomination.....many more. I also think what makes them interesting in the fact that even a nice starter coin is still 750.00, much more than any other basic gold coin. They are a step above from the word go.

I like your 1864, I have an 1863 in about the same grade, AU55? 5000 minted, I think it was 1800.00. As collectors, how can we go wrong with that? I'd buy two PCGS boxes full of the stuff if I could just find them like ours.

I, too, saw the mind-blowing set at the ANA...which is coming up for sale.

The book looks great, but I don't want it coming out, I need more time to buy 'em before prices go up 50%.
