I know these Mexican coins are as common as dirt ... but I like these two.

Going through some more stuff, and found these two. The 20 Centavo piece was still in a very old 2x2 with the square windows. I'd bet it's been in that thing for nearly 45 years.


1956 50 Centavos ... I love the obverse design on these.



1960 20 Centavos.

They are really nice coins - the Aztec design can also be found in a 5 peso coin in silver and lager peso size.

early solid red 20 centavos are not quite as common as people think... and plus the design speaks volumes in terms of history and craftsmanship.

I do like the designs
