When I first started collecting coins the first two sets I attempted to put together without spending much dinero were a wheat & mercury dime set. They just sit in a closet in albums, so maybe someone has some(or one) PCGS liberty halves they want to trade for them. At present I am only working on putting together a nice set of liberty halves, so I am not really interested in anything else.
Here's what I have.....
1909-1940 Wheat cents(complete less S-VDB & 22 No D) - All are good readable date coins ranging from G to VF in a Whitman album. I'm no expert on lincoln cents, so it's safer to say none are XF although many have complete wheat lines in the stalks and nice detail on the obverse. Again.... these are all circulated wheats. The coins of some probable monetary worth & my guess on grades based on the PCGS Coin Grading Guide are...
1909S - VG
1910S - F
1912S - VF
1914D - G
1922 weak D - VF
1924D - VF
1931S - VF
1916-1945 Mercury dimes(complete less 16-D) - All are good readable dates ranging from G to XF and includes the 45-S micro in a Dansco album. Only some of the later dates have bands across the stalk on the reverse except for the 26 & 31-S. The 21, 21-D, 26-S, 30-S & 31-D are again good clean coins.
I can take pics of any particular coins if wanted and e-mail them. PM me or answer here if you want to see any as I will have to take those pics since there was not reason to do it before. If I knew how to post pics here, I would do it here. I am NOT looking to sell one or two coins out of each. I'll trade them(or sell outright) as sets.
I am ONLY looking for PCGS liberty halves for my registry set of which is about 30% complete if you have anything to trade. In particular I am looking for... 1934(MS65), 1936D(MS65), 1937(MS66), 1940S(MS64), 1942D(MS64), 1943D(MS64), 1945D(MS66), 1947(MS65) and all of the pre-1933 coins in collectable condition. E-mail(PM) me what you have and I'll tell you if I am interested. I take Paypal and am willing to make up the difference if someone wants either set(or both) and has something in the liberty halves I am looking for that may be worth more.
